NYT: The executive director of the Missouri Republican Party, Matt Wills, denounced the plan.

Mr. Wills told the right-wing website Breitbart: “If that’s not fanning the political flames, I don’t know what is. I think it’s not only disgusting but completely inappropriate.”

On another right-wing site, Red State, Dan McLaughlin also argued that there was something indecent about the registration drive. Ferguson presents an opportunity for “Right and Left” to find “common ground,” he wrote. But “the minute you turn your energies into just another effort to register Democratic voters and fire up the Democratic base in advance of an election,” he argued, “the harder you make it to keep the common ground from vanishing in the fog.”

Article spamming again from The New York Times. How about offering some comment of your own?

    No problem - here's mine:

OMFG, Republicans show their true colors.

    As do you. icon_biggrin.gif

RedState.com isn't just another right-wing site. It's THE most influential of all within the Republican Party.

Read it.....and whatever little respect you hold for Republicans now....you will lose.

I didn't have any to start with. Not for a long, long time.

And here's mine: every time an SB post seeps past my IGNORE function, I become still more certain that I'll never vote GOP.

Gosh, I guess he's not earning his money for spamming Right Wing propaganda here, if it's having the reverse effect.

But then maybe they don't care. They send these guys here, to keep hammering away at us. and suppose they win over a few anti-gay adherents. Their attacks on gay Web sites are well known, the only question is who among us are their agents? I can think of a few obvious candidates - can you?

I could personally care less. Better these people voice their grievances through voting than through violence.
