Haha, this question is awesome! Oh hands down, the evil and brilliant villain of all time in cinema is the psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter. And I mean Anthony Hopkins the original Hannibal. I can't believe someone hasn't put his picture up here in this list of villians. lol. Hannibal is the most ruthless, evil, likable, destable, cruel, son of bitch ever created in fiction. Just think about it, a psychiatrist who is himself insane, a serial killer, and a cannibal! Hands down it has to be Hannibal. haha

Zao in 007 Die Another Day (portrayed by Rick Yune, Korean American actor). I just find his diamond face so hot and sexy. icon_eek.gificon_redface.gif (I just love all the James Bond Villains).

There's always been something creepy about Jack Palance and James Spader, even when they've played good guys.

    Funny story Re: Jack Palance...

Every time my mother saw him in a movie or on TV she would remark, "Oh, he is such a nasty ass!" One day back in the 70s, she was at a Republican fund raiser picnic in Lancaster Co., PA and happened to be standing next to him in the buffet line (he's originally from PA). She told me what an incredibly sweet and kind man he was...lol

Tom Hiddleston does such an incredible job as Loki, that I'm almost rooting for him.

The holy trinity of greatest movie villains are as follows: Darth Vader, Hannibal Lecter and Col. Hans Landa.

What all these villains had in common is that they were all extremely complex, nuanced characters - as opposed to being evil just for the sake of evil.

    So much awesomeness

Somewhere I read that he started out playing bland pretty-boy heroes. But his plane got shot down in WWII and (to Hollywood's mind) messed up his face and his voice. So he got to be a villain.
