    Tea Party Express

Total receipts were $9,501,795 with expenses of $9,447,467 and $381,098 benefiting candidates; that’s 96% on expenses and 4% to candidates.

    Sarah PAC

Total receipts were $2,068,666 with expenses of $2,120,019 and $106,000 benefiting candidates; that’s 95% on expenses and 5% to candidates. With just a measly one-hundred grand in candidate support

Actually I'm glad to hear this, if true. Reduces Teabagger political effectiveness, and drains money from other Conservative groups & causes, that might use it better. YAY!!! icon_biggrin.gif

This illustrates perfectly the folly of donating to PACs and bundlers like the Tea Party, HRC, and other such outfits, however partisan or non-partisan they style themselves to be. Like so many non-profits and "charitable" organizations, too much of their income goes to staff salaries. Wherever directed, your political contributions goes furthest when they go directly to the candidates themselves.

The IRS WAS starting to examine them, and other Conservative groups, along with a number of questionable organizations. And the Republicans in Congress went bonkers, and made it a "scandal". Because these groups were (and still are) donating illegally to Republicans.

Well that's true. Because as we all know, Jesus only donates to Republicans. icon_rolleyes.gif

Not true. He divides his giving between the GOP and the NRA.

The tea party crackpots are never going to end their crooked Ponzi scheme until the US is the "white, Christian country" and the republicans will be changed from the Grand Old Party to the Grand Theocratic Party. Everyone else will be marginalized and discrimination and persecution will be rampant thanks to the NARROW MINDED BIBLE THUMPING SCREWBALLS.

So True! Tea Party/GOP doesn't want America to know they're ripping off taxpayers.

Yup! What do you do when the groups that are giving you money illegally are being audited? Scream scandal, and stop the audit. If you're the Republican Congress you have the power to do that. And turn legitimate, routine IRS reviews investigating YOUR illegal actions into sham charges of illegal actions by THEM. And gain a political advantage for yourself against Democrats, and particularly against your Black nemesis, President Obama. Very neat.

(I was joking. Yes, I know. It is what they are paid to do. And in fact they were checking out Dem groups as well. The funny thing about the GOP outrage is there is no allegation that tax status was inappropriately denied to anyone. It is just GOP clowns in Congress egged on by Fox.)

Liberals, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones:

Why do Obama and democrats accept so much money from convicted felon George Soros?

Obama advisor Al Sharpton was quoted as saying to an audience at Kean College in 1994 that, "We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it."

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sUjlle7ZVo

Appearing on Morton Downy Jr.’s show, Sharpton shouted down an audience member angrily: “You ain’t nothing, you a punk faggot. Now come on, do something!”

Obama campaign contributor Gilead has been recommended by Obama's CDC to euthanize gays through the prophylactic use of truvada.

Greeny Obama opposes the Keystone pipeline but supports campaign contributor, advisor and frequent Whitehouse visitor Warren Buffets use of substandard railcars to transport oil 2/3 of the way across the country.

Greeny Obama wasted a lot of money borrowed from China to pay now bankrupt solar panel companies who contributed to his campaign. Where's the toxic waste from the solar panels being dumped?
