Summer is flying past faster than you know. Get outside. Take a picture. Report back here.

I'm not going to carry the ball this week.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing...everytime he puts up a fight, I just go in the kitchen and pound on the door....

I work in healthcare and have a random schedule. I no longer have a concept of a weekend or a holiday.

pazzy said would go over to the woods but after what happened the last time, getting lost and having to do some man vs. wild shit, all slipping down hills and ruining my gym shoes, think it's best to stay indoors. too broke to go around like that anyway.

    as Woody Allen said

“I love nature, I just don't want to get any of it on me.”

pazzy, you need to turn your depressive disposition into gold.
Have you considered stand up comedy?

EVERY day is summer in South Florida, and every day is also a weekend when you're retired. So no urgency on my part. icon_biggrin.gif

It'a also one of our hottest summers, maybe the hottest ever. ("Global warming? What global warming? We ain't got no stinkin' global warming!" says the Conservative from his air-conditioned house)

Right now most people here are trying NOT to go out much, until maybe October. It's not unusual to see people on the sidewalks using umbrellas against the sun, rather than the rain, to create a little personal shade. We're talking brutally HOT & humid, with the strongest sunlight in the 49 continental United States.

last week; finished up getting a rental ready, usual cleaning and painting. Maybe replaced a door was the big effort.

this weekend; start getting a condo we thought to rent ready for sale, install wood molding (it has steel framed interior walls so trim screws), repaint kitchen cabinets new doors, recessed lighting fixtures, back splash tile...

It's cool & rainy today, so I'm catching up on all the housework. I'm off next week, and leave for Atlantic City on Monday!

AWESOME DAY out there today in Kansas, just hotter than crap, but the early mornings and late evenings are great.
Looking forward to a great weekend ahead! Lawn work, gym time and some swimming time top my Saturday agenda!

A.A.G. is a beautiful, peaceful place we love, very nearby. We've invited some friends to come with us. A perfect place to spend some time on a great summer day before going for a hike, and then to dinner.

Country Mouse went to town and picked up City Mouse and they the spent the day at the FarWest Show horticulture convention. OMG, we have to grow THAT next year. Oh, and some of THAT. Is THAT even possible?

Then rushed back home to draw up next years propagation schedule. (After the requisite night on the town, of course.)
