Still keeping the juices flowing and enjoying mutual partners.

One thing ... trying to keep the boys out (too young and inexperienced) and keep current partners happy.

    Just a juggling act.

I think keeping active is a matter of mind over matter often. Having said that, I think as you age you recognize and face more issues (metabolism, fear of hurting yourself, motivation, stamina) but a little each day is better than nothing.

If you're talking about sexually active at an older age…well, heck yeah! And what's wrong with teaching the young grasshoppers a few things? LOL Makes you feel younger and wanted!

I think the truth is just stay in shape and don't start thinking old. Genetics helps but really, in my experience of guys my age that act like doddering old men, it all starts with "You know you're old when..." and they start using age as an excuse to quit trying. Read, experiment, listen, act, learn. Yeah, I think the music of the late 60's was the best but that doesn't mean I can't like GaGa or Rihanna. Or rap. Or handsome guys of any age.

This. Growing old is required, growing up is entirely optional.

Gay older guys rock! We tend to have more money, more experience with sex, and more inclination to have fun. lol. The smart young guys always have good judgment and have sex with us.

lol, this sounds like an advertisement. These pity threads, with the "we have money" angle, just makes us look sad.

And what the fuck is a "mutual partner"? Sounds like craigslist jargon.

Reality check: I am turning 48 next month. For me I get tired more easily, do not have the same strength as when I was 38, I can only work-out 5 consecutive days as opposed to the 6 I use to be able to do, I have to constantly watch my form when lifting weights to avoid an injury, my back gives out more often, I've begun to loose muscle mass......blah blah blah.............so essentially it sucks. On the good side, my resting pulse is 54 bpm, lipid profile is awesome, glucose level is normal - health wise, I am in great shape, better than when I was 28 and had hypertension and 20 was pounds overweight. Despite my age, I can still beat most younger men in my cross fit class, including my partner who is 36. I just think those older men who go around saying how awesome things are , are either kidding themselves, are in denial, are were particularly unhealthy when they were younger to begin with.

Growing older certainly beats the alternative and I still feel like I did when I was 25 but I sure wish it was as easy to meet handsome men as it was back then. No matter how active you stay the door slowly shuts on that as the years pass.

Apparently, some people (like the OP) prefer to lie about their age by 30 years and steal penis pics from 20 year old porn stars to post in their profile. icon_lol.gif

I never realized that he is actually 4 years younger than I am according to his profile

I guess the definition of "active" is different for everyone...

That's because this backwards site doesn't allow you to hide your age like Scruff and other more progressive social media. That should be optional just like race. And besides, if anyone actually thinks we have 100 year old men here, they have bigger problems anyway. icon_confused.gif

i cant/wont speak for every ones experience, but, i fondly remember a weekend in palm springs in 1989. i was visiting the desert palms inn while living in the area. at the time, they had an 'open door' policy to the pool and grounds. i was chatted up by a man from australia. he was 60 at the time. the stamina this man had, and remember, this is before the boner pills came out. this guy was furry, muscled all over, a phenomenal kisser and just fun to be with. so, don't let 'age' turn you off. my new guy is 59 and has the drive of a 20 year old.
