Art Deco... You are wrong about Sioux indian being in New York

    Just talked to my Dad about what you said and I can't remember the EXACT name but in New York they were called Antonis or something similar to that name... I can't remember. But he said they CAME FROM Sioux indian. So AGAIN, I am New York Sioux indian thank you very much.

    Instead of your father, try asking the Native American Plains tribes themselves.

    Here's a good website. I invite you to contact them, and see what they say.

    It's certainly possible that some Plains Indians have dispersed, and moved to the East in modern times. But they are not native to the Eastern Woodlands, in pre-Columbian and Colonial times.

    So please contact these Native American tribes, and share with us what they tell you. Perhaps they will endorse what your father has said.

    My Great Grandmother who is the Native American Indian in question is the one who told him these things. SHE WAS VERY INDIAN and I do remember that much about her. I will check out your site for the fun of it though. Thanks.
