On average your underwear shows more than you ever imagine and to people you have never imagined......ha ha ha

It is my guess, and I can be wrong on this, that on average most people treat their underwears as very private- something that only their partners and very close people see.

Some people do not invest too much on underwears in terms of thinking of the color, type etc since it is an underwear anyway and only selected, defined category of people will see it.

This is just a reminder that we should not be too careless when it comes to choosing or putting on our underwears.....WHY?

Our underwears show more often than we can imagine.

I never quite look around for underwears that boys have on them but somehow they just come my way and I like to have a look.

One time I am walking and a boy bends to tie their shoe laces leaving their underwear showing....In that instance he will not have an idea that someone peeped into their privacy. Another time, he is raising his hands to pick something, just sitting down somewhere or lifting something. There are a thousand reasons your underwear will stick out unawares and you have no choice who will see your underwears.

So be careful what you wear under-the holder of your goods ha ha ha ha...the color, the make, the texture, how old etc

    What does every body think?

You can who is straight by underwear. If he's wearing BVDs, Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, he's straight. If he's wearing C-N2, Aussibums, 2Xsist, his girlfriend bought them.

I think that (especially lately) a lot of guys are more aware that their underwear (and their abs) are visible than they let on. Low rise jeans, shorter, more fitted t-shirts, etc., are not an accident and even straight guys are buying Calvin Klein or other designer skivvies that are made to be seen.

I think there's a math formula that tells you how proud a guy is of his abs by the number of times he "has an itch" or stretches or some other action that hoists up his shirt above his waistband.

I dont care if the waistband of my underwear can be seen its not like youre showing a buldge in public or anything. In my work Its normal to see waistbands all the time and in many cases hairy craks too icon_lol.gif it looks to me OP has a fetish with this

I don't wear high-waisted '80s pants anymore but I'm not a low rise sagger either. I don't think I have this problem, and if I did, I wouldn't care. Even white Fruit-of-the-Loom y-fronts are hot if the guy's hot. Maybe I'm weird but whenever I see a hot guy in cheap underwear I think the same thing I think about a hot girl who lets her dark roots show - that they're confident and have higher priorities.

Yea they do. There is one ridiculously hot guy (unfortunately a few many people have told him so) who spends ever so much time admiring himself in the everywhere mirrors, complete with comical faces, flexes, picking the shirt up every few sets to see if he's more defined than five minutes ago... so very typical Jersey guido behavior but, hell, it's a free show.

I think non native English speakers need to learn that underwear is both singular and plural. My underwear is green. All my underwear are green.

Function over Fashion is my motto. I wear boxers only, black or dark colors at the least, athletic fabrics if possible because they're the most comfortable, and usually not as hot. Grr, Texas.

So...yeah, that's pretty much it. I guess you could read into it a bit--function over fashion is pretty explanatory in and of itself. That's all I got.

Underwear makes a VERY strong statement.

Especially when you wear it on the outside...

Thanks everyone. I appreciate you UndercoverMan too for the correction. I know there is no excuse even if English is my 6th language.

You guys are right that people are more aware now that their underwear is more public now that ever before...........

I have been an admirer of underwear for years. As coach in the lockerroom in years past guys moving into their teens moved to boxers and boxers only.

Underwear took a change with boxer briefs and now many of the boxer guys, me include have boxers and boxer briefs. Guys today do spend a little more time on selecting their underwear. ESPN even adverstises Tommy John underwear, that is audience research.

Guys who sag their pants do think about their underwear. The way casual pants are made today sit lower and therefore show at least the waistband. Underwear manufacturer know that and that is why they put their name on the waistband.

Remember what your mom always told you, "don't leave this house with torn or dirty underwear, you never know you might be in an accident and you don't want to embarrass the family".

I really don't put much thought into underwear, I just wear some Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, and my most extravagant pair is Ralph Lauren. lol

I wear underwear for function and when someone does get me into just my underwear I'm sure they're more concerned with getting them off instead of what they look like. When I want to really feel sexy, I just go commando. lol

I think a lot of us put a great deal of thought in our underwear, almost to a point of fetish. I think we like to look good, feel good, and be sexy, and underwear fills that need.

Very interesting what you said, here is my view.

I carefully select what I buy, what I wear and have changed up to 3 times before I walk out the door. And now the brothas be saggin I get an eye full andlove it.

For me, I mostly wear Victoria Secret panties and they fit perfectly. Also I have the boxers briefs and a couple of traditional boxers (yuk)

I can tell when a guy takes time to pick up a nice pair or was like, I gotta buy my others are falling apart.

...not much thought....its all about function for me. Underarmour boxer briefs or some nice cotton FTL or Haines....don't normally care about color....not into white though.....And it is damn rare that anyone would see the waistband of my underwear....most likely to see the legs....when I am in yoga and in certain poses, the legs of my shorts may ride up and exposes my underwear....but they are mostly not white and are compression or spandexy types so nobody cares...I wear underwear to not get caught in my zipper and to just help with heat and moisture in that area. :-)

I don't treat my underwear as some great private state secret. Hell, I'll walk out to my car in my boxers in a minute. lol. I think underwear are sexy on guys but it's not something that I give a great deal of thought to. I'm more interested in taking those underwear off of the guy and seeing what's under them. Now that fascinates me a lot. ha

This thread reminds me of one of my first jokes in Pre-K.

A mother asks her little girl why she was crying, who replies "The boys were teasing me! I was hanging upside down on the monkey bars and they said 'I can see your underwear! I can see your underwear!'"

The mother says "Stop crying. Just don't give them a chance to say it next time."

The next day the little girl runs home all smiles. "What are you smiling about?" says mom. "I hung upside down on the monkey bars today and nobody teased me about my underwear!"

"Good for you! Why was that?"

Says the little girl smugly: "I wasn't wearing any."

    /thread titillation factor
