I will most likely get some NOs. But I think personally humans smell like products and use all these synthetic compounds on their bodies that take away their natural odors. Obviously I am for showering and being hygienic, but I don't like men smelling like that gillete crap or any of these odd smells. I actually prefer men to smell like men and women to smell like women.

If you ever want to block out body odor without putting bad chemicals into your skin, just use mineral sticks. I use a thai stick and it blocks my odor for 48 hours.

Interesting topic. I don't really like deodorants or body sprays, but since I have naturally strong body odor, it's a necessary evil. Also the aluminum in these deodorants is not good for you.

I'd definitely like to try out mineral sticks. Where do you find them? Some people also take zinc supplements, which supposedly helps prevent bad body odor.

The natural scent of a man can be intoxicating, but nobody wants to endure bad BO though.

Here they are. They're really cheap and I have had mine for a year and it's still in use.

I love the natural smell of a man's body but the scent must be mixed with hygiene and care for his body like shampoo, deodorant, washing his balls and ass, because this shows that he cares about his body which means he cares about himself which means he is capable of caring about somebody else, like me.

I'm pretty in tune with my sense of smell, I can sniff out a fire before anyone else does and I like smelling people as they walk past me or when we hug. Its kind of a fijian tradition, instead of greeting people with a kiss on the cheek fijians take a big sniff lol its true.

I'm weird about body odor. I hate being stinky, I hate when others smell the slightest bit musky.... but, if I like a guy, I like his stink. O_o The heck?

No. Please get the message out to the other gays..

There's nothing masculine or butch or sexy about a guy that smells like week old road kill.

Take a fuckin shower everyday. Practice good hygiene. Eat healthy. Stay hydrated. You won't need to use colognes or other chemicals to cover up your stank.

I might make the subtle distinction, in US English usage, between body odor and scent.

Body odor tends to have a negative, unwashed connotation. Scent can be more positive & pleasant.

I like a natural, manly scent. I love to cuddle against my man's chest, and just smell him, not perfumes.

Guys I have dated have said the same about me. Because I use no perfumes, nothing at all. I had one BF who marveled that I always smelled freshly showered to him, unlike any guy he knew.

That's my goal. I don't need olfactory enhancements. Either like me as I am, or don't like me.

Yes, I like it a great deal. Of course, not every has a nice-smelling body odor Some guys - who shower all the time - have an unpleasant smell to their (clean) skin. It has nothing to do with deodorant: their skin has has a badscent to it.
I had a boyfriend once, and I could tell when he was in the gym. His odor was very sexy, and full, and not unpleasant to sniff (although i'm sure there were guys going, "Ewwwwwww" back then, too).

It's funny that people will put something made from a skunk on them to "smell nice," but they've never considered that their own body odor (the pheromones) can actually arouse someone. And gay men are the very worst about it. Straight guys are much more relaxed about being 'stinky' than gay men. I marvel at that.
It's training: people have been told it's not ''polite" to smell, so they think any scent is disgusting. It's a distinctly American attitude, too. I've yet to be in another country where people are so anxious about the possibility of catching a whiff of anyone else.

    Interesting question.

Since OP is apparently on the way out, hunting for pussy now, why are you reviving his threads?
