Hey guys, I'm curious, how many of you got your pictures stolen and got them used by strangers on gay apps?

Apart from reporting the profiles... is there something else we can do?

Since the past week I've seen 15-20 profiles using my pictures on Hornet... I feel violated. I don't know what they say to those guys while using my pics icon_confused.gif

Now I've made all my pictures private on Realjock since I know for a fact that the pictures that were stolen were taken from here... I know it's no fun not knowing who's posting, but what can I do? icon_sad.gif

I also made a clean up of my facebook friends to make sure that doesn't happen there too :/

And a message to those who are using my pictures... what do you think it's gonna happen when you meet guys and they see you're not the guy on the pictures? Don't you fell bad stealing someone's identity? Would you like someone doing the same thing with your pictures? How would you feel? And by the way... identity theft is a crime!

Watermark your pics. It won't stop it completely, but it will at least make things less easy for the faker. But really, this is unavoidable. Whatever you put on the internet risks being downloaded and shared and reused.

There are at least two types of people that ask for pics while chatting online..

    1) The ones that want some proof that you're real.
    2) The ones that collect pics to create fake profiles, and try to trick #1 from above.

This happens to me repeatedly. I just laugh at it... not something to lose sleep over... I guess its even kinda flattering in a super creepy way. On the other hand I get irritated because they can never get the stats right. Common! I'm not 5'6 and definitely not 140lbs.

    +1

It doesn't bother me at all. After being fat most of my life, it's really flattering.
