Thanks for starting this topic. I was very disappointed to see the loss to the University of Spoiled Children, but Stanford's a smart team in many ways and smart people learn from their mistakes. Would that the officials did the same! I'll be at Big Game this November, and watching closely most Saturdays in between. ND will be a good one, especially given their shut-out of MI - as will UCLA, of course - and maybe I'll make it up to Pasadena for that one, too. GO INDIANS!

Here we are at Big Game 2015: a night game again this year - Stanford hosting. 4th quarter: Stanford leads, 35 -16. We've beat Cal for the past 5 consecutive games. Looks like we are doing it once more.

(Yes, the game is dragging a bit, so I'm here on RJ answering mail & posting this)..........

End score: 35 - 22 Stanford keeps the axe / once again!

Good for you for being there! I watched it as the capstone to a great day of college ball, one that bodes well for the various conference playoffs, especially the Big Ten. I've not been to Stanford's "new" stadium yet, but hope to in the next year or two. I used to go to games there and at Cal regularly when I lived in SF and, since I went to neither but had friends who did to both, generally rooted for whomever's team I went with. Good times and great tailgating!
