So what do you miss from entertainment in the 1990's? Also the 2000's as well

I really miss the good old days of video games without DLC, you had to have friends over for multiplayer, and the developers were more creative.

From TV I miss All That! and The Amanda Show

So what do you guys miss?

Yes lived her all my life.In the early 1990's NYC started to finally turn around and improve under Mayor Guliani.NYC was a disaster from the late 1960's till around 1978 when Mayor Koch tried to turn things around.Staten Island where I lived was nice all through those bad days though.

Did you ever go to that club that used to be in the old theater off Bay St? The park something theater, maybe? A friend of mine ran a really eclectic party in there for a while.

    Everything...

I was a 90's child but can honestly say those were the best years of my entire young life. Times were so simple back then. We had good music, video games were fun, but kids still knew how to play by themselves outside.

Political correctness was none existent, there was no reality shows except for cops. Nickolodean, Disney and Cartoon Network were still good channels to watch and played the classics..

    MTV actually played music videos.

I wish I was born in the 80's so I could have experienced more of the 90's.

90s nostalgia? Holy Fuck, that was just yesterday to me. That's not nostalgia, that's all still operable. The 1950s and '60s are nostalgia, maybe the '70s, but '90s? I'm still in them!!!

The 90's were my high school days - I have great memories of the of the music and the video games especially.

In particular - the 'golden age' of squareoft RPGs. My parents bought me secret of mana for Christmas (1993 I think) and I couldn't put it down.

    Happy days :-)

Power rangers (my first wet dream was power ranger related)

    I don't like much 90s music but I love 90s techno

I'm with the guys who were little ones durring the 90s. But I do remember getting a sony playstation for my bday in 98'. Tomb Raider and Mortal Kombat Trilogy were my first video games. OF course the times when we watched Zoog Disney with Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, The Jersey, Famous Jett Jackson, ect. I was a total nature freak, and still am today. Any oppurtunity I had to be outside I was out there....always finding something new to explore as if I didn't know my yards like the back of my hand.

I was born in 1989 so grew up in the 90s. There are so many things that I miss from this decade in different aspects of my life.

TV wise, I definitely loved Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark and Power Rangers. I miss going into Blockbusters to rent movies though. I loved watching movies on VHS - especially my dad's old horror films.

I really miss the tamagotchis from the 90s. I used to take mine to school everyday as did a lot of my friends at the time. I miss playing Snake on my phone as well, that was definitely my time-killer in the 90s.

Of course the Spice Girls, the sheer number of boy bands in the 90s. The huge walkman that I used to listen to music on.

Toys that came in cereal boxes, even if you knew they were going to be awful.

Pokemon anyone? Collecting the cards, using almost all of my pocket money on them. Your reputation was pretty much based on those cards, at least in my school.

Loved having a folding scooter and stunt pegs on the back of my BMX bike for other people to stand on. Oh yeah. Thanks for taking me back to the 90s.

Well, there was that "Grunge" thing, so for a few weeks, I was actually in sync with the fashion world. And there were so many rabid music-label execs swarming around trying to cash in on "The Seattle Sound" that the garage band you saw at a party one weekend might be national superstars by the end of the summer. (And forgotten before Winter.)

But really, I'd like to have that decade of my life back to do over. Spent most of it working long hours in a windowless basement room.

Oh yeah! My car was brand new and even under warranty icon_razz.gif
On the other hand, I had car payments icon_sad.gif
