A new economic report, published by Forbes.com on September 6, 2014, clearly shows that President Obama is the best economic president in modern times. It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact, based on all of typical the economic indicators, including jobs, investments, growth and expansion, even the rate of inflation. In all of these areas President Obama’s record outperforms that of every other modern president, including conservative idol, Ronald Reagan.

Funny thing is that basically all he did was to follow established economic theory taught in all the best colleges. Even the Euros are now starting to reverse the stupid clamp-down policies they went to after the Great Recession. What the Republicans and the Euro Central Bank were advocating were the exact same policies taken before the Depression and after until Roosevelt reversed course. We learn as we go but I'm afraid some don't. Basic macroeconomics. Now I have an issue with some of the micro policies being followed but I'm afraid that isn't Obama's fault. That failure is Congress's.

Ahem, aren't some of us forgetting that, in Obama's words, "He didn't do that; we ALL did it!"?

However true these figures,* it's not just about jack. The damage Obama's done to this country's international standing alone wipes out any incidental economic progress that may have occurred on his watch. Add to that the divisiveness he's created with his misguided social policies, his brazen efforts to reinstate the dispensing power and rule be executive fiat, the increase in the welfare rolls, ...
    _____
    * And look at them closely. E.g., the length of lower unemployment under Reagan and Obama clearly comes out in favor of The Gipper.

I suggest you look at the international polling.

Just because you think it is so, it does not make it so. Here is a link to an article that discusses international attitudes toward President Obama:

    http://www.pewglobal.org/2013/07/18/chapter-2-global-opinion-of-barack-obama/

Despite some dips, President Obama is still viewed more favorably abroad than Bush. So I'm not sure where you got the idea that he damaged the world's view of the US, when that was done by his predecessor.

In fact, Bush had high marks because of the 9/11 attacks. But with the invasion of Iraq, Bush's international stock plummeted.

Now, if we can just get everybody over at Fucked-Up News to view these facts and statistics, maybe they will shut the hell up and quit bitching about the president and move on....

But we all know, that ain't gonna happen anytime soon…

(I bet they don't even acknowledge that these polls and studies even exist)

It's rather surprising to see the economy doing relatively well considering that congress has done nothing to help it since the dems lost control of the house in 2011.

Imagine how well the economy would be if they actually did something constructive instead of repeatedly trying to repeal ObamaCare in vain.

Oh without doubt brother, he saved this country from economic catastrophe. The only problem I have with his legacy is that the only people who got rich during his Presidency were the already rich! They haven't shared shit with the rest of the country. God will make either them, or their children, or their children's children answer for that. I don't think the really rich people in our country are reading the bible at all and its historical record about excessively greedy people at the expense of the poor throughout history and how God always eventually bring them to account for their greed, lol.

Oh come on. Fox News is in a league of its own when it comes to biased news coverage and 'analysis'. I think you are intelligent enough to recognize that.

Peoples opinions vs. the actual statistical data can vary, as can be seen by the above charts. I do wonder what Obama could have accomplished if we had a Congress that was willing to work together. I think that Obama has worked on what he has been able to do. He has no power to pass new laws.

Jobs are up but college career unemployment is down. Mom and pop stores are closing all over the nation. Heads of housholds re working multiple part time jobs! You can't support a family working at Mc Donalds! If you punish the upper class and big business the middle class suffers. Who do you think the middle class works for? Big business! There are no carrer jobs for college graduates! Read more a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Obama is not respected in the middle east. even Russia is laughing at us. Hilary has bigger balls. She is embarrassed and distancing herself from him. He was off playing golf while our american journalists are being be headed. Isis will strike us, and he is to blame. Ronnie wouldnt have stood for this. There is intelligence on Isis strong holds and he does small bombings. You know little about government and what made America a respected super power. He is weakening this country and our people! Wake up. He is n inexperienced lawyer running our great county into the ground. Get ready to bow as he allows China and North Korea to own our great country.
America was founded on hard work. Obama wants to give healthcare to those who never worked a day in their lives and give hem government assistance. These sae people sell drugs and have better cell phones, cars, clothing, and flat screen tv's than you. They should drug test all people receiving our tax dollars and free medical.

That has already been proven to be a waste of tax payer dollars in several states.

And in regards to basic health care....in a humane World, which is what we should work towards as a society, heath care is a basic human right. That is a goal that an advancing vs primitive society should work towards.

North Korea? Sorry, but you really jumped the shark there. By all means have a rant, but try to keep it coherent.

PEOPLES' OPINIONS VS. ACTUAL STATISTICAL DATA

Republicans may be victims of their own negative opinions---opinions shaped by their chosen media of FOX, Breitbart etc.

Daily they are told that THE SKY IS FALLING.

Why look for a job or create a business when the end is near?

I don't understand why Americans believe presidents have more than a miniscule effect on the economy (Actually, yes I do... presidents are constantly making erroneous claims to the contrary).

The above chart should say 5 Years of Bernanke. Federal Reserve policy is what's behind all those metrics. Fed policy is also behind the Reagan metrics (and any other economic metrics for any other modern president you want to look at)

Not just the best colleges - adequate high schools teach this, too!

One thing I've learned from spending my career on the line between technical knowledge and governance is that it's remarkably easy to "forget" everything you know depending on the political environment.

Huh, every metric mentioned is now measured differently in favor of self admitted drug addicts like obama and clinton.

You are correct on this point: if the man had had a Congress who was reasonable most of us would be doing descent now. But you have to remember that Obama is like the Jackie Robinson of major league baseball. Priviledged white racist people always hate anything new or different. Actually I'm kind of glad that things worked out the way they did with the Republican Congress. At the beginning of his Presidency Obama was certainly willing to sell out his people to make the Republicans happy but they rejected his overtures at working together. That's the best thing they could have ever done towards him, hating him that is. Sometimes racism benefits the oppressed I think. Stalin, like the southern Republicans, did the same thing towards his political opponents when he came to power in Russian and he insured how history would see him too after new government occurs against old repressive regimes. God is always involved in the affairs of men, some cultures believe, lol.
