I was on restriction ALL THE TIME because of my Mom and my grades. But in spite of that she would drop me off at his house because he had such a HUGE fucking heart. We use to sit down and watch Totally Go-Go's and he would make us all this food. Then the rest of the time OVER THE PHONE because I was on restriction he taught me how to play Go-Go songs literally over the phone. His first name was Willie but I never knew his last name and as an adult it bothers me. My Mom always said he was such a GOOD influence on me. He was. Anyway, the video we use to watch THEY JUST posted on the internet in it's entirety since 1981. It use to cost fifty bucks to own this video. God bless him wherever he is. I will never forget him. He loved me so much.

Anyway, here is the video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN-Pq5QCIy4

Wherever you are Willie, THIS GOES OUT TO YOU!!!! You gave me something no other older brother has ever given me in this world over the last thirty years. You brought the sunshine of good music into my life and inspired me to play it.

SERIOUSLY looked how these girls danced in concert while performing instruments. They revolutionalized the music industry when it came to sexism.

NO FUCKING DOUBT!!!! When Belinda got older and at the David Bowie concert she started taking her high heels off on stage because obviously IT HAD TO BE DIFFICULT doing what she always did. But man, the way she did it in those old days had be fate. She never misses a extremely sliding step in those things. Can't imagine how it was possible. BUT YES, what a lucky High School.

You know what is funny is they all admit when this band was started NONE of them knew how to play except for the drummer Gina Shock. THE UNIVERSE WANTED THIS TO HAPPEN. Can't believe I just had an entire conversation with Kathy Valentine the Bassist last weekend. THey finally got their star on the Hollywood Walk of fame which was WAY overdo.

I've never even seen a male musician spin around this way on stage while playing their instruments. Probably never will. The Go-Go's are unique in so many ways.

Sorry, I don't understand what your initials mean. But I will say this, my first older brother might have been gay for all I know but at that age I really couldn't tell if he was. It doesn't matter because at that age it was none of my business. He was simply a good man that only influenced me in the most positive ways any man has ever done throughout my life. He was cute, he was a little overweight, not a whole lot but I just remember being comforted by everything he was. He should have been my fucking babysitter. I HATE MYSELF FOR NOT KNOWING HIS LAST NAME because that was a serious link in my life that should never have been lost when we moved. These are just my feelings I am putting into order after severe things that have happened throughout my life. Especially my near death experience recently.

Yes it is and so are the other fucking drama "coming out" or "why do they cheat" or "I'm in love with a straight man" that take place OVER AND FUCKING AND OVER AGAIN. But you put down my post KNOWING it is NOT anything like what gets posted around here because I am trying to shed light on things this community misses out on most.

I understand your post here totally. There is so much haterism in the world, even within all of our own circles of life. But the truth of the world, which I think God keeps hidden for his own reasons, is that black men, especially older black men, are the best protectors, influences, those that show true love, those that teach you the most important things about life, that even young white boys who are lucky enough to run in to one of us, will ever have in life. We are the most mistreated, we black guys, but God has also made us the most gentle and in tune with the heart of God. But I'm an older black man so I can hear what you are attempting to say here. But don't say it again my young white brother on a website like this. There are too many haters in this particular space. Keep this knowledge to yourself okay?

I do understand your final point. This isn't the place to express genuine love for the human race. Peace to you my brother.

declansloan, on second thought though it doesn't hurt me to stand up for what I believe in most. I almost died two months ago as I was found literally on the floor of my apartment by police with failed kidneys and all my other organs were shutting down. You have NO IDEA what has been running through my mind in recovery from this. Anything that ever mattered to me I felt needed to be expressed. I was so blessed with Jews, blacks, hispanics, orientals, and God knows what else. It's when ALL of society lets hormones be the final judge in who we are that we become ignorant, backstabbing, prejudice, uncaring people. This NATION was BUILT NOT ONLY BY THE BRITISH but by everyone involved. THIS IS THE BEST NATION IN THE WORLD. The love is TREMENDOUS from every nationality... Even the arabs. This is God's melding pot. I have a solid philosophy on skin color and it is NOT up to me to decide who will survive climate change for the next five hundred million years. I just want to see our brothers in all races carry eachother through the darkness and light. But there is war even within our country. And it comes from ALL angles still. I just think we should look at how special we are to be so different than other countries. To realize that love is NOT determined by sexual attraction by the purist of heart in this world.

You remind me of my sister here in your response. You sound like you are racing a little bit here. Any way, the important thing about challenges in life to remember is that you survived them. Everyone has challenges, pain, suffering, near death experiences at some point. It is not the fact that you were traumatized that you should focus on, it's the fact that you survived it that you should focus. Because guess what, you've got some more challenges to your life coming not too far off in the future. Welcome to the world of grown men my cool little white brother.

No, I am forty three but I have reasons as to why I cannot share my real profile right now. Peace brother.
