    A source of minor conflict between my bf and myself... the importance of breakfast. I'd never go without it... it does routinely.

    What do you eat for breakfast? For me its a bowl of cereal like Total, always with skim milk.....
    occasionally "low sugar" oatmeal.. depends on my mood.
    I remember when "Lucky Charms" used to rank years ago...
    Today.. they aren't needed... LOL

    And you eat?

    I eat fruit in the morning. On workout mornings, I follow the fruit with some venison.

    Oatmeal. Whole, rolled oats (not instant), with a little peanut butter and honey mixed in. Workout mornings I sometimes add a serving of protein powder as well.

    Oatmeal, a bit of milk in it. It's not a lot, but I eat 5-6 times a day.

    Steel cut oats (oatmeal) or Blueberry granola. Sometimes twelve grain bread toasted / a few strips of turkey bacon, eggs over easy. Orange or grapefruit and juice - fresh fruit. Sometimes shredded wheat cereal. On rare occasions - French toast or pancakes.

    First breakfast (6:30am) is a muffin or scone and plain non-fat yogurt with a little brown sugar added

    Second breakfast (10:30am) is a big bowl of Cheerios with a banana sliced up in them.

    On lifting days there will be a post-workout protein shake in between those meals.

    I'm with you guys on eating a few times every morning.

    Usually pancakes or oatmeal at 6ish when I get up.

    I usually munch on lots of stuff throughout the morning - cold cereal, fruit, granola or cereal bars, a yogurt.

    Then I usually visit Starbucks around 1030 for a treat!

    And of course, juice and coffee.

    Currently:

    * a bowl of Kellogg's Special K with Berries (with non-fat milk).
    * a hard-boiled egg
    * sometimes a couple of slices of toast with avocado smeared on them
    * a cup of coffee

    Depends on how much time I have...

    none: pack for work a yerba mate teabag, granola bar, banana, and cup of yogurt

    10 min.: coffee, big bowl of granola, juice

    20 min.: bacon/sausage, eggs, toast, yogurt OR breakfast tacos of bacon/sausage, eggs, cheese, avocado, and my homemade salsa

    longer: sky's the limit!

    I have taken to only consuming locally grown food (even from my backyard) whenever possible, including local pasture raised meat, eggs, and dairy. That's what goes in most of the above. Michael Pollan scared the shit out of me I guess.

    I have several typical breakfasts.

    1) Oatmeal
    2) Fruit, yogurt, and muesli
    3) Eggs, grilled lean pork loin (instead of sausage), and toast
    4) Muesli cereal with skin milk.
    5) Granola bar (if I'm in a hurry).

    And usually milk, orange juice, or coffee.

    When I get to work I'll have some coffee (black or cappuccino), and usually yogurt or mixed raw vegetables around 10:30.

    I prefer a warm/hot breakfast. At work, bagels and coffee. At home, bagels or toast, eggs, and some sort of breakfast meat.

    Usually oatmeal w/raisans or some dried fruit cut up into it w/brown sugar and a little milk. Some times I eat cereal and milk, wit either way, I also eat some fruit, and quite frequently add some sausage and eggs for the protein. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day !!! If your going on a trip, you don't wait to put gas in your car untill you arrive at your destination do you??? Ya gotta gas up first !!! LOL !!!!!

    I've always been a breakfast eater, but it's one of the key items of the Weight Loss Challenge to eat within one hour of waking up to get your metabolism going at the start of the day.

    Given that, my standard breakfast is a glass of OJ, bowl of cereal or oatmeal, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, ground flax seeds, and some fruit.
