... Isn't judged guilty for the murder of his girlfriend! I think he isn't guilty either cuz he's really hot.
I'd gladly let him shoot me icon_razz.gif

I can understand his mistake. If I woke up to find a naked woman in my bathroom in the middle of the night my first thought would be that she's an intruder too.

I think he's guilty as fuckā€¦..I hope he gets manslaughter and gets raped by the ugliest criminals in Africa and gets murdered when he's released, just for dragging the trial on longer than it needed and dragging the victims family through it as well.

He should be sent to jail just for that pathetic sob story he gave on the stand.

And being an heroic sports hero. But yah know what, when you blow away your girlfriend in a fit of rage, you're still a coward. Legs or no legs.

This judge better put him away, where he can cry his eyes out all he likes.

    This really saddens me.
It is so obvious now that law isn't really about justice but about the loopholes.

    Reasonable doubt?!?!
Unless someone wanted to rob you of your toilet paper, what the fuck kind of thief would lock themselves in a bathroom?
Even if he legitimately thought someone else was in the house, the fact that the case found that he wasn't on his prostheses would have definitely left him ample time to realise Reeva was not in bed and probably was just, oh I don't know, using the fucking toilet like a normal person.
Did not multiple witnesses say they heard minutes between the first and last gunshots?
Did he not have very inconsistent testimonies throughout the entire trial?

He had enough time to crawl, find his gun, load it, crawl back and shoot it through the door.
Oh but they still somehow failed to prove he didn't MEAN to kill her.
No offense but I really doubt the validity of the law system of South Africa after this, then again it's no wonder so many South African's themselves will tell you their country is not safe at all.

This whole case is beyond ridiculous and the fact that he got away says yet again a man can bullshit his way out enough to avoid prison for KILLING his girlfriend.
Domestic abuse/violence against women for the win here in this trial.
    Disgusting honestly!

At least it proves justice is truly color blind. A rich handsome white track star can get away with murder just like a rich handsome black NFL star.

I have mixed emotions about this one. On one hand, if it was truly an accident, it would have been horrible to see him go to prison for this tragedy. On the other hand, I feel he acted very irrationally that night, and his girlfriend lost her life because of it. There are no winners here.

It's simple, if it was by accident or not, he is still guilty of murder. Big disapointment for me in our country's law system.

In a country that is rife with crime as the reports have suggested then it's conceivable he made a genuine mistake but to my mind he should still serve a (shorter) sentence even if he didn't murder intentionally.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder
Murder is the unlawful killing, with malice aforethought, of another human, and generally this premeditated state of mind distinguishes murder from other forms of unlawful homicide (such as manslaughter).

Regardless, I could not read that someone shot four times through a fucking closed door and not wonder, hey, what was up with that! There's nearly no way I could have sat as an objective juror on this one.

His cell door should be that bullet hole ridden bathroom door as a physical constant reminder of his senseless act in taking an innocent life.

And after his release he should be made to have it installed in the bathroom of wherever he lives for the rest of his life.

Hell, the lid of his casket should be that door.

He is a coward , but not a murderer ..

As mentioned , he lives not too far from an area reputed for its instability and safety problems , and even if the community where he lived is gated , they had security breaches well before that night .

He should have open that bloody door before shooting , but he was too afraid to do so , and killed an innocent person .

I don't understand why if he wanted to murder her he'd shoot her though. I mean he had blades for feet. I'd just say oops, unfortunate accident during sex.

So, just this morning I noticed my s.o. wasn't in bed with me, and then I heard strange noises coming from our bathroom. Obviously I thought it was a murderer who stopped to take a dump before killing me, so I got my handgun and emptied it in the direction of the noise.

If not murder, then at least hand down a judgement of manslaughter. At LEAST.

All of the people freaking out right now, he's only been acquitted for premeditation. No one's saying he didn't do it, no one's saying he's not going to jail. We'll know that tomorrow. All that's been said so far is that, as far as the judge is concerned, he didn't plan her death.

what do you mean? he is a murderer. he intentionally busted his gun knowing that he could have KILLED somebody and he did.

and i don't know the guy BUT judging by the fact that he carried liked to carry his gun around, has been accused of domestic abuse and has an anger problem as he got into a bar fight during his murder trial. it's safe to say that he knew what he was doing. he just got LUCKY that he has some good lawyers or people that feel sorry for his ass. he's guilty.

Pulling out your gun to shoot someone you think is intruding into your house isn't murder, it's manslaughter. Murder means you planned to kill a certain person in advance.

Yep ...looks and being an Athlete do help... and money of course, but Karma ... is always the Payback ...so whatever happens at trial is meaningless.....Can't we have Joan Rivers back and take him.

Murder, by definition, involves premeditation and intent.
