"Despite a state law and subsequent constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage, a federal judge has just issued an emergency order requiring the State of Arizona recognize the marriage of Fred McQuire and George Martinez. The couple, together for 45 years, recently married in California. Martinez passed away in late August of pancreatic cancer."

That's disgusting wishing strokes on people. What is your problem?

are we talking about the disease stroke or the erotic stroke with a hand slowly stroking through a body?

THIS Republican isn't having a stroke, disgusted as he is by your crass comment. Did you even bother to read that the judge issuing the order is a Bush appointee? Do you even know the slightest thing about standards for issuing emergency orders under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure? Didn't think so, so rack up another in your ongoing and entirely predictable string of just plain stupid posts. Better to stick with tea, coffee klatsches, and other handy household hints, Heloise.

What profit it a man if he cites a case but loses the link? Here's a copy of the order: http://www.bilerico.com/2014/09/federal_judge_orders_az_to_respect_gay_mans_marria.php
An excellent decision, that cites recent governing caselaw within the rubric of traditional injunctive relief standards. Nicely done, Your Honor, even if you are - anyone 'appalled' yet? - "a Bush appointee."

Bravo; well-reasoned decision of The Honorable John W. Sedwick, B.A. Dartmouth, J.D. Harvard

    That sets a precedent.
Now, legally, the state of Arizona will have to recognize all gay marriages.

And that's why you'll be alone forever, you poor, sad excuse for a human being.

I knew you'd be upset by a pro-gay rights ruling. You're so anti-gay and predictable.

The judge being a Bush appointee wasn't an issue, and I didn't reference it. But a nice strawman argument you attempted. Your stupidity is really mind-boggling, or is it your duplicity?

I was referring to the reaction of Republicans to this decision. Who are indeed having strokes, in the figurative sense. You might benefit from taking a course in rhetoric, the art of using figures of speech.

Read some Right Wing anti-gay web sites, which I'm sure you do religiously, and likely contribute to. They are going nuts over this. And apparently, from your response, so are you. Doesn't surprise me.
