"Hour Glass"

The deepest darkest days you face is in a world of total seclusion.
The uncertainty so brutal
The future so secretive
The things that worry you most
So close like a ghost
But you can't see it
Gives you trepidation
You feel buried when you ponder
'Specially when it lingers
Life is truly woman
With many cycles
Like a washer that spins
Changing in directions
Cleansing and rinsing till its
Final spin
Making no
Exceptions for no one
We all get rained on
Or burnt up under this blazing sun
Life is truly unfair
Unfair to everyone
Not just you
Or just me
Though some may get the better half
We all have an hourglass
That pours its last grain of sand
