Doubtless Atlantis will be offering cruises around Lake Victoria (if they weren't already).

Sure pass a law putting gays in prison for life and wonder why they won't come? At least the other countries when they have anti-gay laws on the books they state you are not welcome to travel there. This is obviously admitting gay people with dollar signs on their forehead. There is a whole world to travel in why go to such a place? You are asking to get attacked or a disease or something. They stated "No gay person will be killed in Uganda". Well it is mighty hospitable of them to not kill you if you visit.

Ug-anda-be kidding me as Chelsea Handler would say. BS and hoof. I would never deign to freely spend money in a country that personifies some of the most vitriolic of homophobia.

I don't ask that a country have a perfect LGBT rights record. But threaten to jail me or your citizens simply because of our homosexuality, and I'll slap you in the face economically.

And yet the guy who signed to make Marriage for Gay people forbidden by State Constitution gets the endorsement of LGBT organizations to be governor of Florida?

Seems easier to boast a backbone when tourism involves a transatlantic flight.

    I wouldn't fall for that.

You could go to Uganda, kiss your partner and still get arrested. The atmosphere concerning homosexuality in that country is volatile - I just wouldn't even risk it because the tourism board says it's okay.

This is a country which has attempted (but thankfully failed) to introduce capital punishment for homosexuals. Never forget this fact.

Of course Uganda wants gays to visit. The more gays who visit Uganda, the more money the extortionists can get from them by threatening arrest.

If they want the U.S. gays to flock there, they'll have to have a White Party.

    *(Pun intended.)

Museveni calls for new debate on gay

"Museveni urged Uganda not to open up wars with trade partners recklessly over the issue of homosexuality, saying this would be irresponsible."
