I'm kind of surprised at the number of forms that require a job title. Not just on-line but even sometimes in person, people insist on recording that information.

I've been operating on my own for several years now, and have never really settled on an official job title. I've variously written, "Proprietor," "Principal," "Director," and "Poobah." All kind of boring. I guess I need to put some more effort into coming up with something.

An article in this morning's Oregonian shows that I'm not alone. Here are some job titles that different people around here are using.

    ChIef Wisdom Officer
    Director of Smiles (receptionist)
    Player Coach
    V.P. of B.S. (beer sales)
Director of Hoppy Goodness (also a brewery... hmmm maybe a trend here)
Queen of Trash and Flash (merchandising)
    Business Therapist

While remaining somewhat accurate, what title would you choose for yourself?

    "Publicity Whore"

For anyone who doesn't know anything about me, that might sound odd coming from someone with a pictureless profile. I do pretty well at that job, though, and my photo is all over plenty of other sites.

I was in pharmaceutical sales for 3 years, so I guess I was a "drug dealer".....the legal kind!
