I have to say I like both a lot. What do you guys like? I think there both masculine and sexy. Being I'm Latin, I prefer sungas/square cuts but also like short boardies too!

    Thoughts?

I had to google "sungas". Never heard of that word used to describe square cuts.

I think square cuts are kinda out of style. The mid-length shorts are very popular now. But if you got the right body, it doesn't matter what you wear. icon_biggrin.gif

According to Google, "sungas" is more of a Brazilian thing.

I don't like seeing guys in anything tight, not really even tight shirts. I come from the eighties and the style back then was BAGGY EVERYTHING AND I LOVED IT. When I saw back then even speedo's on a body builder it grossed me out. Women look okay in tight clothes but men look SO MUCH more masculine and mysterious in baggy clothes.

You are correct, it's is a brazilian term, but also a Latin term too. My father is Latin not hispanic or Mexican. He spoke true Latin growing up. Wish I learned it better now. We latins are still in the mix with the census bureau, at this point I stop trying to figure it out. I just know my roots... It's a mess!

Mine are black, when I visit most countries I like and feel at home, I'm in sungas. Guess I'll never give them up. Those baggy things look like a wet mop!

Love short shorts that show the definition of my legs better. Hate cargo shorts because of all the flapping lose pockets.

Summer before last I took a group photo of a bunch of straight guys on my boat and they were all wearing those long unflattering board shorts which when they stood together looked like collective skirts:

Slaves to fashion that straight guys are, this summer half were wearing the shorter shorts and looked much better!

I've dated Portuguese. Some find the term Hispanic or Latino offensive because it's like calling them Spanish. Brazilians speak Portuguese too.

if i think the guy is attractive, he can wear either icon_smile.gif

i have a ridiculous number of board shorts and i'm trying to find some shorter trunky things now. at the right length, they can be amazing.

Too bad for them because Portuguese people are 100% latin. Everyone that lives in a latin language country is latin.
