Hi guys, have you ever heard about HIIT? It's High Intensity Interval Training and it's about high intensity of training if low time for recovery. [duh]

I've started HIIT this week and I have some doubts about it yet.

Does anyone here do it at home?

Well, let me make a list icon_biggrin.gif:

•Can I do only HIIT or do I have to something ~with~ [after or before] HIIT to loose weight?

•I did it for 4 days and all the 4 days I felt dizzy and my blood pressure got low [I have this issue]. Is that normal?

•What do I have to eat before HIIT? And how long do I have to wait to start it?

I'll remember the other questions as the day passes icon_biggrin.gif

I love HIIT, if you're feeling dizzy and your blood pressure got low just do it 2 times a week until your body gets used to it. I was having those same problems when I first started doing HIIT and I ended up passing out once because I was overdoing it, take it easy man and good luck! icon_biggrin.gif

Great topic! I had heard of this only in passing and what a great thing to talk about on my weekly webradio fitness program for next season. Thanks for bringing it up! Sounds like a great approach to consider to at least, break up the usual cardio scene.

It's a great workout. Many guys on here would benefit from the intensity. Not all go to the gym to socialize. I work out with IPod on and go. Done in an hours no BS 5 to 6 days a week, every week!

    Thanks for the replies.

Since I alredy have "low blood pressure", I just stopped doing it. My nutricionist said the same: it was too intensive for me. But now I'm trying to by bycicle to my job. I'm not sure this is the best way but I'm trying haha
