Recently, I asked a question that was important to me about finding people who have carried out consultancy to learn from the but not even one person responded. Now I know what RJ is for. I asked a wrong question. Apologies lol

Maybe nobody who read it had done consultancy? Now if you had asked a question about where to see pictures of men in their underwear, I am sure you would have been flooded with responses icon_razz.gif

The most response you will get here out of non controversial topics is "I think you should go see a therapist" or "just be yourself" because those are basically saying FUCK catalystics, the only catalystics I know of are drowning relationships and sex addiction. Anything off topic here will get you nothing. Hell, I even posted up about my recent near death experience and all I got was bashing from people. Reminds me of the gay men who CRIED out to the media in tears over the AIDS quilt and still went on having unprotected sex. They say it was about their lovers but what it was REALLY about was asking Science for permission to carry on their sexual "love" with someone else. It wasn't until the nineties that they started wearing fucking rubbers. What does the gay community provide to themselves? Gay rights all in the name of fame and money. The world has gotten over the fact we are gay, IT IS US WHO HAVEN'T.

i think you're grossly overestimating the number of qualified (to answer that question) active posters here who might have seen your thread.

Funny. Jackbone Tx, I agree with you that its possible I may have overestimating the number of people in the position I asked about. I was of the notion that we have many professionals doing great stuff in this group but the topic as Jerred mentioned was off......Thanks guys.

Jack is right; you were asking specifically for people who were already established and successful in your own specialized profession. Nothing wrong with asking, but it may have been wishful thinking. You may want to lower your expectations a bit and ask more universal questions that pertain to a broader range of experiences if you want a useful response here. Alternatively, you could explain a little more about what it is that you do and/or want to do, since "international consultancy" doesn't really reveal much.

I don't know what you're looking for specifically, but if it's along the lines of social networking and research to bridge the gap between professional communities you know and those you don't, perhaps you could try linkedin.com (if you haven't already)? If nothing else, it might help organize your efforts a little. Just *DON'T* give them your e-mail password; they will try very hard to trick you into doing so!!!

You have a headless pic, your profile is blank, and you're relatively new to the site. I think many guys on here are hesitant to putting effort into replying to someone with a suspicious profile.

Also, your question was pretty vague. What exactly is international consultancy? Is this referring to a specific industry or trade?

Bingo, mum ! There's plenty of good reason for scepticism about the motives and generalities at play, and if you're looking for a paid for holiday abroad, you'll need to press quite a bit more flesh onto your profile...

    Thanks guys.

I like your analysis and suggestions. It is true I am new here, my profile is faceless and my question was not only too specific but also, to an extent, vague (consultancy in International Development...I should have added "Programs" to make it clearer).

I will drop it here. I already posted it on linked where I have been getting good ideas that will move me forward.

    Again, much appreciation good people.
