Chrysler Cordoba commercials from the 70s - yes, but prior to that Montalban did some of his best work with Lana Turner (she killed him) in Madame X - a great classic film btw.

Greatest Star Trek villain of all time. Here's his best line

To the last, I will grapple with thee... from Hell's heart, I stab at thee! For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee!

Now I have the Volare commercial running in my head. I guess it's better than Tatoo saying "De Plane De Plane....."

    THIS IS CETI ALPHA FIVE!

Ceti Alpha Six... exploded... six months after we were left here.

The shock shifted the orbit of this planet and everything was laid to waste.

'Admiral' Kirk... never bothered to check on our progress.

It was only the fact of my genetically-engineered intellect that allowed us to survive.

I shall leave you as left me... as you left her...

... marooned for all eternity at the center... of a dead... planet.

    Buried alive...

    Buried alive...!

"He tasks me. He tasks me, and I shall have him. I'll chase him 'round the moons of Nibia, 'round the Antares Maelstrom, and 'round Perdition's flames before I give him up."

I grew up watching him on Fantasy Island, but his turn as Khan in Star Trek II goes down as one of my favorite movie villains of all time. He helped make that movie the best Star Trek movie. Not to mention he had a helluva chest when he made that movie at the age of 60-something.

Thank you Ricardo for your years of entertaining.

Did anyone notice that the ship Kahn hijacked in The Wrath of Kahn was named the "Reliant", another Chrysler product! Recardo will be missed.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hervé_Villechaize

"Though popular with the public, Villechaize proved a difficult actor on Fantasy Island where he continually propositioned women and quarrelled with the producers. He was eventually fired after demanding that his pay be on par with that of co-star Ricardo Montalbán. The show's popularity waned after this move, and it was soon cancelled. According to his former butler in an episode of the E! True Hollywood Story[2], Villechaize never got over losing his job, and for the remainder of his life practiced an often nightly ritual of drinking in a darkened room while screaming obscenities at an episode of Fantasy Island playing on his television."

"In the early morning hours of September 4, 1993, Hervé shot himself at his home. He was found by his longtime girlfriend, Kathy Self, and rushed to the Medical Center at North Hollywood, California. He died later that day as a result of his injuries."
