Seems I got more or less what I wanted. You cannot pick who you fall in love with, or else life would be easy. Truthfully, I'd probably have chosen a girl when I was 14 and, having fallen in love with her, have happily stayed with her. But you cannot choose who you fall in love with.
While I like that people have lists, I do myself of preferences, I do NOT understand how some guys complain about being single, yet their list is 100 items long. Sure, I have "deal breakers" of hardcore drugs, dysfunctional alcoholic, and a few others. But that is relatively practical. I don't transform my mere preferences into a mandatory checklist. Nothing against anyone who has posted on this thread so far, I mean this as a general statement and response to some of the people I constantly see griping about being single, and yet who wait on perfection--which by definition does not exist in any human.
