Carrie is by far my favorite artist, and in my opinion, the best vocalist out there today. She just keeps getting better with time.

On December 9th, she'll be releasing her first Greatest Hits album, titled "Greatest Hits: Decade #1" (I can't believe it's been 10 years since she auditioned for American Idol). This is the new single from that album, and it's one of her best vocals to date:

I know some people won't like it because of the religious nature of the song, but I can relate to wanting to change your life and even asking God for help. And I do respect Carrie for not being ashamed to sing about her faith (she has voiced support for same-sex marriage though, so she's not some nutcase religious bigot), and to release such a song to country radio these days, where most songs seem to be only about beer, trucks and getting laid.

    Thoughts?

I'm not "Blown Away". But it's good.

If I can get those three simultaneously (drinking beer and getting laid by a country boy in his truck) without Carrie on the radio, so much the better.
