    Good & bad.

the lower court rulings in Indiana, Wisconsin, Utah, Oklahoma, and Virginia should go into effect allowing marriage equality in those states and whatever lower district federal courts are attached to these states. Thus 12 additional states; Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma in the Tenth Circuit; Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and West Virginia in the Fourth Circuit; and Wisconsin and Indiana, in the Seventh Circuit. Added to the 19 states that already enable same-sex couples to marry.

Now the count will stand at 31 and the District of Columbia.

That's actually an overstatement ... it's five states with a theoretical potential for 31 states.

    NOT an overstatement:
In colorado (where i live) previously the republican state attorney general was driving the anti gay marriage effort. After the recent SCOTUS decision he is dropping the effort and marriage equality will be law.

think of it; acceptance of the gay house hold is the law of the land. Even 5 years ago did we think this was possible?

The media used pictures of really ugly gay and lesbian woman. I don't see the need for men to marry. If you each have power of attorney, who bother both of you are men and the beauty as a man you don't need another to support you financially, unless one is just using the other. Whole lot of that going on. Also with straight marriage 1 in 4 might make the 10 year mark with gays the % is so much less. Why bother. It's just a piece of paper.
I guess. Some want a party and ceremony and to waste money on something short term. Where we're all the under 30 guys who claim the want to marry? They were out at the bar chasing around for better younger tighter ass!
Human nature of men! Not. All but the majority!

Same sex marriage denied in/amongst 7 other states? Well, what can be said? I, personally, am not the biggest fan of marriage, period. After seeing what I saw growing up in my home, I said marriage was never going to be for me. Then I start hearing the talk of same-sex marriage. I do not care what comes of it. I guess it will happen when I see some sense of #Decency, #Dignity, #Integrity & #Respect amongst the already-divided "gay community"...wishful thinking...

To me, there isn't enough #Loyalty within another man to make me wanna say, 'I do", if he were to ask me. Who wants to repeat a mouthful of words that are to be meant from the heart when they turn out to be a handful of lies in the end? I'll pass... it's all a fairy tale to me & I gave that up years ago. I've already been given grief by those who think that because we're gay, we're supposed to have the same mindset when it comes to this heavily debated topic...

Sorry, not getting my vote on this...
