I can't keep to one word. My HS 20th century history class was basically a screamingly boring exercise in summing up every president in one sentence. Obama is either going to be reduced to:
    "First black president"
    or
    "Stuck cleaning up Bush's mess."

But really, considering the trajectory of US education, in another ten years, it will be just one word:

    "Huh?"

To use a portmanteau in the same style of Jockfever (who idiotically brands Obama "Maobama"), the following word describes the man well:

    Dronebama.

(Apologies for the poor pun, I was copying Jockfever - an individual with the wit, eloquence, grace and style of Jerry Falwell on MDMA)

Although it hurts me to say this… because I voted for the man, but… FAIL

OH, he's done a few good things, but because of his fights with congress, and his recent wimping out on sending back troops to fight ISIL, (I realize he was voted in on a platform of getting troops out of the middle east, but things change, we would understand... both presidents Wilson, and FDR were voted in on an isolationist ticket, and look where we ended up...) I really can't give him a passing grade... He tried, but I'm afraid history will not be kind to BO...

I will admit first here that I am not a USA citizen and not a voter but I have lived here in USA since university for over 13 years now. Just saying that upfront so that the haters can have that DONE.

"Normal" in the sense that no matter what he does, someone will object; normal in that no matter what he does the opposition will scream; normal in that after the walk-on-water phase people realize he's as flawed as the rest of us; normal in that one man simply can't do everything the job entails.

So - "normal" - and if we could just agree to start there, we might have more reasonable, even more civil,, discussion.
