Just because building muscles isn't a priority for you, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't do any strength exercises. Having active muscles keeps your metabolism high and allows you to control your weight more efficiently. It also helps strengthen your bones and improve blood circulation.

That doesn't mean that you have to commit to a life in the gym. You can accomplish that easily enough with calisthenics and HIIT training. Cardio has it's benefits, but they are limited. You should be doing various types of exercises in balance with each other if health is your goal.

As far as individual exercises go, here are a few go-tos for me:

    Burpees
    Jump Squats/Drop Squats
    Jump Lunges
    Mountain Climbers
    Plank
    Push-ups

Ha, ha, thanks but as my yoga says you probably have to do both .... Yoga and weight training. But you can skip Cardio other they staying active.

Personally, I'm very into squats. I don't use squatting machines but I do home squats and even incorporated a dumbell into it. The first few times I tried it, it wasn't the most comfortable feeling but over time I got used to it and now, I really like doing them lol.

I've also gotten used to pushups so overall, I think Pushups and Squats would be my favorites so far.

Just for health? Jumping jacks or other calisthenic that gets your heart going. Everything I do is for weight control including lifting weights.
