As a Buddhist, admittedly struggling at times, I don't see very many posts which highlight what we see beyond the muscle (exterior). There seems to be many forums based on what we see on the outside, looks and strength etc., and you obviously take great pride in showing it off. I've seen numerous entries from guys who draw attention to the fact that being a "RealJock" makes you a man by the physique you build. However, there is obviously more to life and to men than muscle and fitness. Confidence may be gained by a big muscular body, but what have you got beyond the water?

So tell me, what do you admire about the person above you? One thing you cannot mention is any part or in whole of their body, build, physique, appearance, etc.. If they don't have it written in their profile are you man enough to find out what makes them tick?

I'm going to take a completely random guy out of the blue:

    STRAPPEDGUYNC:
I get up at 4:45 am Monday-Friday to go to the gym

Damn, now I admire the dedication that gets anybody out of bed at that hour. Because of work constraints I can only get to the gym on the ship at 1900 (or is that just an excuse?)...but I dream of being able to get into the gym in the morning...well done, mate!

He has an engaging smile and although he is way to big (bulky) for me, I know it takes a lot to get that built.

I admire Jude's discipline. He's classically trained in many instruments.

And those abs are pretty rockin', too.

And he has great taste in music, though that's something I more appreciate than admire.

Eric is a sweety, smart, and he likes little doggies. Anyone who respects doggies is OK by me.

He enjoys the more sublime pleasures in life and is an articulate, witty, gentleman.

Edit: Oops. That was for ursa. jp is witty and infinitely helpful. He, too, is a gentleman.

I like that he is so into art. Not many people still admire the beauty of the artistic creations. It is rare.

Good sense of humour, (yes that's with a "u", im from Canada)... his profile made me laugh in a few parts.

Also, his profile name as a reference to Holden in Catcher in the Rye.

Smart too... but we have enough corporate litigators!

oh, and one of his favourite books is 1984, so that gets extra points in my book!
