I've put off and procrastinated since last April, but the deadline is finally here - and I'm glued to TCM watching Kay Francis movies instead. Yeah, I'll finish 'em, but is anyone else similarly situated?

I hate to admit it, but every freaking year this happens.

Sheesh, what's with you guys. I got my refund well before April 15. Just use turbotax; it makes it so easy.

Turbo tax every year. Form 4868 every year. Thing I really hate is that the weather is always nicer on Oct 15th than it is on April 15th. I'd really would have preferred to be doing something else today

No dispute there, and I usually use it or the other free programs available to US and CA taxpayers, but this year A LOT of stuff happened and got in the way. They done and out now, so no problem.

My taxes are much too complicated for me to deal with so I've been having the same accountant do them since about 1980. Sometimes it is impossible to get the necessary information soon enough in which case he files an extension request.
