    i wonder why? the pope even bothers, nothing comes of his rhetoric. You can say anything you want but not following through is another.

    The more conservative Cardinals and Bishops will work to undermine Pope Francis, diluting his influence. The RC Church is supposed to be a strictly top-down organization, everyone taking their orders without question from the Pope, and so on down. The truth is this only happens when the Church hierarchy wants that to happen. They'll just as soon obstruct and oppose a Pope if his policies aren't to their liking.
