Oh my god, I literally cannot wait until this is all done and stuff. It's so freaking irritating. So much slandering and shade throwing, too. UGH! icon_mad.gif

Yeah, I sympathize. I'd stop watching tv but there's some guy holding a gun to my head making me watch it.

I don't think politicians throw shade. They throw money.

pazzy saidwell... isn't there a governor race in your state???? luckily, my state doesn't have any major elections going on except the senator one where obviously, cory booker has in the bag already because nobody knows or cares who he's running against. don't even think most people in the state knows that there's a senator race going on around here so probably nobody's going to show up to the polls tuesday. icon_lol.gif ny and pa have governor races and shit. haven't seen anything on the news about the ny gov race though at all.

Agreed - hardly any signs out or TV ads. Booker will win. We are getting an overwash of PA race ads as most of the TV here is Philly based. I cannot believe how much money is being spent on a state Senate (not US) race in Delaware County area in Penna - Tom McGarrigle (R) vs. John Kane (D)! Ads galore!!

I voted by absentee ballot weeks ago since Minnesota now allows this at will (I.e.no particular reason needed for choosing not to go to local polling place on election day.) Now I ignore campaign ads without the least feeling of guilt.

I'd rather have to deal with a couple months of political ads than have no elections at all.

We don't have too much of it here. Gov. Kasich is up by 22.7 according to the RCP poll average and Oh - 12 is safe for Pat Tiberi. Plus we don't have either of our two senate seats up this time.

I'm spending more time watching WI and FL hoping that Scott Walker and Rick Scott can pull this out. MI's Rick Snyder looks more and more safe, but as they say, it ain't over till it's over.

I am sick and damned tired of my mailbox being stuffed with all these politicians campaign literature. Our 60th district state senate seat is up for grabs so I am getting bombarded with campaign mail. However, I am voting for the incumbent Sen. Mark Grisanti because he has done an outstanding job working across the aisles in Albany to get things done for the people. The democratic challenger is a crook and a liar who was convicted of election fraud and embezzlement about ten years ago. The new republican challenger is an extremist conservative who cannot be trusted. The state teachers union backed him in the republican primary and he beat Grisanti. However the incumbent is running on the independence party line.

I just want the phone to stop ringing every five minutes with another robocaller.
Can't imagine how that crap can help them - if I bothered to figure out which campaigns are ringing my phone all day, it would just make me hate them.

Just six more days and then a reprieve for about 18 months.

It is interesting to see Kansas as a battleground and the right wingers are all afuss over the fact our governor might be replaced by a democrat... that and an independent as a senator. Fingers crossed!

But the ads are ridiculous, I agree!
