An overwhelming majority of the time, you have only yourself to blame. Also, you can't always be with the person you really like or are in love with.

^ I agree . I try to get over the mistakes I have made . They are self inflicted. The man I like is in Canada so I know I could never ever be with him , it tears me apart . he will be my persian crush and nothing more icon_sad.gif he has a special place in my heart .

Success actually has very little to do with merit, and working hard will sometimes never actually get you what you want. Knowing someone who knows someone or being in the right place at the right time are just as important.

Raindrops evaporate on roses that wither
and whiskers fall off dead kittens
Bright copper patina and warm woolen moth eaten mittens
A manatee strangled with fishermen's strings
These are a few of my saddest of things

Cream colored ponies in my Elmer's glue and crisp apple strudel sticks to waistlines and thighs
Mormons ring Doorbells and anti gay sleigh bells and saying schnitzel turns your face into a noodle
Wild geese shot while flying with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my saddest of things.

Transvestites in white dresses stained red by homophobic slashes
Snowflakes melt early because of global climate changing
Silver white winters that spring where once was warm
These are a few of my saddest of things

When the dog bites, when the bee stings
    When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my saddest of things
And then I don't feel so bad

Too many people think about what they don't have....
    NOT what they DO....

-Missing out on something that's occurring somewhere else in the world. (Meeting new incredible people, activities, events, opportunities, unseen scenery/landscapes)

    -Not having powers haha.

-Not being able to know or tap into what the rest of our brain can do since we only use a portion of it.

-People that could have surpassed their struggles if they haddent committed suicide /:

    -Diseases.

-Not being able to see the better things that unfold after we die. Technology, culture, accomplishments, etc

-The corrupt ones that get away with things. Some... Enjoying life.
-Honest/Noble ones who go unnoticed. Some struggling with life.

    - When we love the ones that hurt us and hurt the ones that love us.

-Men, women, children, starving at this very moment, victims of rape, abuse, war. While many of us are sitting before our computers carrying on with our lives.

    -Ignorance

Man this list goes on! At the end of the day we should just reflect on ourselves and the world around and try to be better individuals. Take the positive out of the negative ALWAYS. Easier said than done but we only have one life and might as well take control of it as best as we can to enjoy it.

nothing is good or bad thinking makes it so.

the only truth there is in life is that we live and die the rest is whatever we want it to be

Damn. I've never been able to say this a tenth as well, no matter how often I've tried.
