I wish there was an automatic feature where the vids can't get quoted. Because what happens is that when there are too many it freezes my computer. I can't be the only one who's unable to click on, say, a 400 post thread inviting RJ members to post of vid of their voice. I avoid long threads asking people to post vids for that reason. I say an automatic feature because on one such thread the OP asked people in his initial post to remove embedded vids when quoting/commenting on others, but almost no one listened.

vBulletin and other well established forum software have options in the member's control panel to not render embedded media. Instead, only links display. Or just the thumbnail of the video appears. And you can click on it to make a new window pop-up to watch the video on YouTube.

This site needs those options BADLY.

And there are certain videos that play automatically as soon as you open a thread. If you the volume up, RIP. It's fucking annoying.

I don't think they'll ever listen to our feedback. So I just use NoScript and block YouTube for the time being.

Our webmaster was making changes, and the changes accidentally resulted in the inability to post videos. He just completed more work - which allows for the videos to be published.
