As Dems wake up with the political equivalent of a hangover, viewing a lost Senate - are you ready, is it too soon, or would you not even consider Hillary in 2016?

Onejock: There is a forum for topics like this called "News & Politics." Admittedly, topics posted there are not seen by nearly as many RJ members as topics posted in this forum ("All Things Gay"), but it is the price we pay for not having the "All Things Gay" forum flooded by political topics.

...said SB who posted topics on all things gay about politics, lol.

Yeah - our country needs Hillary to think of the welfare of the Democratic party and the country instead of her entitlement, and decide not to run. She won't win, and will doom the country to another 8 years of the likes of one of the new ultra conservative republicans. Can't she satisfy her ego by just writing another book and get another $10 million or so?

what fucking difference does it make? really, as long as the system continues to "function" in the manner it does where big business in essence is the government, it doesn't matter who the fuck sits in the oval office because it seems that they are nothing more but puppets catering to a larger more sinister power. wake up and smell the corruption. nobody is going to "help" us but us.

Yes. But I hope she starts being more aggressive about liberal positions. Dems let Republicans frame the conversation around Obama's failed policies when in fact he inherited a mess and everything is looking pretty good right now. Except for the damage being caused by widening income disparity which is totally a Republican creation. Elizabeth Warren is the best champion of our causes right now but Hillary has the best chance to win.

Unless Hillary can effectively address the above sentiment...she's doomed. As of now she's seen as a big corporate ally "who really cares about little people"---for the fuck that's worth.

The Republican candidate, whether Jeb Bush-Chris Christie-Scott Walker, will be a complete and obvious pawn of BIG MONEY.
I doubt the Tea Party will support them when there's no longer an Evil Black Man to fight.

Elizabeth Warren could win with America's Average Joes----odd as that idea may now seem.

Historically, the president's party always does poorly in midterm elections. Perhaps a push-back by the losing party. Last nights races were in deep red states for the most part and Democrats tend not to turn out in midterm elections. From what I read though, the electoral map is making it hard for Republicans to win the White House. It also depends on whether Republicans actually want to govern instead of just obstruct and how far to the right they go scaring off mainstream. I do think that Hillary will win, she beats out all prospective GOP contenders by large margins.

The last thing this country needs is the hapless Hillary ho to run for President in 2016. She is corrupt and incompetent and she is only interested in her own self aggrandizement. It is time to permanently kill off this Ready for Hillary bullshit once and for all.
