OK, our day of a little gluttonous gloating is almost over. Now, tomorrow, how can we all work together for a better stronger America?

My personal first wish would be to leave the vitriol, ad hominem and personal attacks at the door. IF we can learn to communicate again, with each other, then all things are possible.

You really think that's possible? With Art_Deco calling the African American Republican from SC who won the Senate seat last night an "Uncle Tom?"

With "Joe" making wild claims that Republicans are going to throw grandma out on the street, put gays in forced labor camps, pass laws forbidding blacks to vote and wage a "war on women?"

    Don't hold your breath.

I'm not holding my breath, but it's a new day and the election is over.

I am hoping for this as well. Cooperation and compromise are the keys to success.

A good start would be Art_Deco apologizing for his horrid "Uncle Tom" comment about the election of the African American from SC to the Senate.

If he does, I won't see it. I finally blocked him.

I might block Mr. Perky Pooper (HottJoe) from Minneapolis. That guy is clearly off his rocker and it is getting on my nerves.

After 6 years, 1 wish would be for Hillary to have won the Dem nomination rather than Obama.

Obama ran on being a healer and he has done nothing of the sort.
There is no evidence he wants to be anything more than campaign.

Even when his parties future is in question, he cant resist his own narcissistic nature.

---- comments on Al Sharptons radio show on how he expects Democrats to "do what they need to do to get elected" and how he knows they will vote with him.

You could have inserted any other democrat in his place , even Dennis Kucinich and we would be better off.

Anyone else who has had experience with politics and negotiating.

Hillary would have been no better. She would have gone any way the wind blows. She talks a big game but when it is time to produce she falters big time.
