because nature is everything , it's better to live a modest life somewhere out in the woods (some will find it boring) with a modern yet traditional cottage mixed together and a farm with animals and fruit and vegetable gardens and a lake...maybe children someday lol

love of nature + being a small town man..

Oh, this is some very specific shit icon_biggrin.gif Just meet as many new people as possible, but remember that different people have different dreams. You might wake up one day and realize you missed so much just because you weren't open to other things besides what you described here.

Without him going online that will be a problem. Perhaps attending events in the area that might attract gays will increase the chances. Theatricals, flea markets, bars or clubs, etc.

I lived in an upper-midwest farming town of 500. I found a gay guy when he was featured in a local newspaper. Not because he was identified as gay, but my gaydar alerted. And realized he lived just a few houses down from me.

So I contacted him. He was indeed very gay. We had sex at our first meeting. And became BFs for nearly 2 years. I discovered an entire gay "underworld" in this very conservative area, more extensive than I could have imagined. Small-town gay BFs are therefore possible.

There really is gay life away from the big, major cities and their sprawling suburbs. Not all small towns and rural areas are racist and homophobic. There a quite a large number of gay men who prefer life either in a small town or an isolated rural area.
