    Evening.
Just looking for advice for some HIIT routines for ab work and getting my cardio fitness back up.

Since about september my gym attendance has been flaky due to work (I've been away for 5 of the weeks) and cardio is the one thing I'm now struggling to get back on form. So thought I'd mix up cardio and ab exercises and tackle both at once, as the abs have loosened off too.

I had a couple I used to do but honestly can't remember them at all. Think usually it was a mixture between abs and body and had the odd light weight in there too.

    Cheers and tah.

Do your regular ab workouts with more intensity, at specific intervals.

    My advice:

    Lift.

Squats, deadlifts, bench presses, overhead presses, pullups, rows, and also isolation movements. Yes, through ab exercises (with resistance, such as weights) in there too.

Consider your physique a long-term goal. Work on the abs too, but don't obsess over them while neglecting everything else.

Eat too. And everything will fall into place.
