I really enjoy a mix of "gym time" and my morning weight training and cardio workouts at home. Some reasonable home fitness equipment can make all the difference if it is just one of those nights you don't want to go to the gym or just don't have the time. It doesn't have to be an either/ or when it comes to a gym/ healthclub or home fitness, it can be both.

You're more dedicated and disciplined than me. My home equipment is just an expensive clothes rack.

It's a pretty good buy for a beginner...I got my iron from Craigslist..80 pounds from one guy...250 pounds from another...Also bought several bars...The whole lot for about 150 dollars...Just a thought.

LOL. I'm getting flashbacks from high school. Even at $130, I don't think this is a good deal. The bench is too small. And even if you don't plan on being the next Mr O, most guys will outgrow the 100lbs quickly.

Spend the extra money and get an Olympic bench + weight set. Check Craigslist first. There are usually decent exercise equipment that people no longer use. You can create a basic home gym for under $400.
