Violent clashes between police and protesters erupted in Milan and Rome, as demonstrators scaled the Colosseum and threw eggs on the Ministry of Finance building. Unemployment among young people in Italy is 42 percent, and the ongoing recession has led some to blame refugees for their economic woes."
