So I've Been Wearing My New Kilt Around Key West

I've ventured out of our private gay guest house a few times while wearing it, and felt really comfortable. Of course, Key West is ultra-laid back, even with all the cruise ship tourists visiting here from conservative Middle America. They probably figure I'm part of the local flavor. LOL!

A kilt really is great gay resort wear. Especially when your other alternative is wearing nothing at all, which many guys do. icon_biggrin.gif

lol I did that once in New Orleans wearing a toga at Halloween. Felt amazing but also a bit of a turn-on which sometimes presented a problem.

Nope, I've never worn a kilt with underwear (aka knickers).

But this is not an authentic tartan, like I've worn at functions & parties. It's an American variant, for more casual & daily wear.

No. Why don't you tell them?

What they do know is that my husband & I help to raise millions for HIV/AIDS and other gay charities. And what is it that YOU do?

I think that's where a heavy leather sporran helps. But at my age, and following prostate cancer & surgery, that awkwardness is unlikely to strike me anymore. Pity. icon_sad.gif

But yah know, the more I wear this thing, the more natural it feels, and the less I give it a second thought. I was just out on Duval Street, visiting a store across the street owned by a friend of ours. And went into a food place also on Duval, to get my husband some take-out. The sidewalk was crowded with tourists, and if they had a problem I didn't hear about it.

Sure yah do. It's the way a man should wear a kilt. Not just me, but any man, if he knows tradition.

I think you gotta free ball. Jockstraps were only invented in the 1880s, many centuries, even millennia, after Celtic kilts were already in existence.

Of course you can choose to wear whatever you like under your kilt, or not wear. I like the freedom of free balling. The breezes under the kilt are wonderful! icon_biggrin.gif

What is your evidence that I'm an alcoholic? Have you ever met me in person? How do we know that YOU'RE not an alcoholic?

You're just parroting something another guy here posts about me, also without any validation. Unsubstantiated ad hominem attacks are easy to make. May I make some about you?

My best guess is that this is the former deananne, who was obsessed with stalking me. At first I though it might be a southbeach1500 sock, but now I see deananne's signature lunacy. What are your thoughts?

Last big hike I did some creepy old guy came walking down the trail with a kilt and then he wouldn't stop talking to us lol. I'm sure you pull it off a lot better than he did though haha he was kind of socially awkward.

Well I hope I do. But lots of guys on RJ have met me in person, or spoken to me on the phone. I hope they will confirm that I'm not "some creepy old guy".

Versus some weird guys here who make nutty claims about me. It's interesting to have psychos obsessing about me. My principle fear is whether they are dangerous IRL. Unbalanced wackos who have stalked me for years online here do give me cause for concern.

Thanks! I'm just an old guy, who has a husband. There's nothing more I need, so I don't think I need tro be creepy. What a bigoted and ageist thing to say.

Definitely have no desire to stalk you Art but I will say your support of a comment on my last thread of a woman dying of cancer and the emotion I am going through over it is PRETTY FUCKING WEAK from a military man. You had nothing to say about the abuse I have gone through but you bow down to the dicks that treated me like I am some kind of cum guzzler. Sorry, I do not support you anymore either.

I'm puzzled. Could you please quote or link what you think I said?

I don't think you should go there. Do you recall your recent "Uncle Tom" comment you posted here?

I am really becoming skeptical of Deco myself... He insults me when I was literally crying over my friend dying of cancer by accepting some attacker on my thread. Probably fucked over his own son to suck cock... I have no faith in him and if there is a reason to prove me wrong.

Why are you in this thread being a lunatic? Art is just sharing his new kilt story and you come in here and go off. I suspect your stay here will be short lived. icon_rolleyes.gif

That was a political comment I made. Referring to a Black person who sells out to Whites. No bigotry involved.

And are you violating our truce? You started an entire thread just to bash me on this subject, after our "truce" began. Are you still violating that truce?

I've said nothing negative about you since Nov 1st. In fact, I haven't even written about you. But it seems you are still taking cheap shots at me. Please explain.

I don't have any need for attention haha I was just trying to be nice. Some people take offense to everything though.
