So he had to kill them

I had the waterworks going at the end of Brokeback. I guess because I really wished that both those guys were gay and the way they showed Jack getting beat to death. Why do most gay themed movies have such sad endings? icon_sad.gif

Movies themselves are not real, just dramatizations. Movie =/= story. Go back to jerking off to Pazzy's pictures, Jabba the Hut.

I watched The Fault in Our Stars on the plane and couldn't hold myself from crying. It was embarrassing. icon_cry.gif

Another movie that made me cry uncontrollably was Hachi a Dog's Tale, which is a true story in Japan too. icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

This great classic brings on the water works for me. By the end of the film my face is a wet mess and I'm sitting there with a box of Kleenex sobbing like a big ole' girl.

Sophie's Choice. I didn't just cry, I sobbed...took everything I had to get it together before the house lights went up.

    That damned Meryl Streep...icon_mad.gif

I'm not usually too emotional during a movie, but I have seen some films that are incredibly moving and provoking.

Where the red fern grows - It was such a sad ending, but a incredible story. The book is also one of my favorites.

There are one or two war films, that are also especially moving.

The Pianist, was incredibly thought provoking, and emotional. I read the memoir in high school, and saw the movie later. I was astounded at the pain that Wladyslaw Szpilman experienced.

Some movies make me sad, but I have never cried over any of them. I have cried over novels and songs though.

Movies That make me lose my shit:

Life as A House (no bigger culprit, this movie is fantastic)
    Steele Magnolias
    Deep end of the Ocean
    Instructions not Included

They are all tear jerkers in their own right, but none are better than Life as a House!

Finding Nemo makes me tear up. Specifically the scene where Marlon thinks Nemo is dead and decides to part ways with Dory. Then Dory begs Marlon not to leave... Gets me every time.
