Your nipple's showing

It's hot these days over here on the southern hemisphere and today I wore a singlet and as usual, I carry a knapsack. I was walking in the city and a Hare Krishna man stopped me and said 'nice top'. Later, a cute young male teenager was looking at me and I looked back and smiled at him. He pointed to tell me that my nipple was showing (and seemed to struggle to find the words to tell me)! I looked down and then realised my right nipple was exposed, felt a little embarrassed and adjusted my singlet.I think it was my knapsack that exposed me. Oh well ...

Oh my god. I have the same problem. The thing is my nipples are always showing unless I wear double clothing or thick sweater. I'm quite slim so I just don't get it.
I didn't realize this until a few months ago. I was shopping with someone and he wanted to buy me some clothes. So he chose some trousers, jeans, and some polo T-shirts. They were kinda tight. And it was the smallest size available. When I tried them on and I looked in the mirror, the first thing that I noticed was my nipples probing through the fabric. The t-shirt fit my body well, and my nipples were just really poking out. I told him that I should probably get the next size. He said that one fit me well, and my nipples had always been noticeable. He was surprised I didn't know that. So he picked those T-shirts with three different colors. And they're all LIGHT COLOR. And he wonders why I don't wear those T-shirts often.
So now every morning when I dress, I always wonder "are my nipples showing?"

Everyone has nipples...some are more visibly reactive to stimuli. You lean, younger guys get to wear some seriously form-fitting shirts and the rest of the world is jealous! A nice effect of all the work and standing up and NOT slouching! Put that chest forward with pride! LOL! Please don't stop wearing those shirts that let the world know your body is hotwired and alive! WOOF!

I am an older bear, with a stocky build and NOT lean. My nipples tend to always want to make themselves known when I am in a nice polo or in a dressy button down shirt with a tie on.....and I get these nice little points sticking noticeably into my shirts on my chest....I have taken to putting bandages over my nipples to blunt the points....but I also have an issue with runners nipple...so the trick helps with the friction and external stimuli...Darker colors help reduce the visual... Sometimes when you are told "your nipple is showing"...its a flirt and an invitation to show more in a private setting! Use it to your advantage! icon_biggrin.gif

I always thought people wore singlets to show off their body without looking like they are trying to show off their body.

Let me further clarify about my incident. My nips didn't show through the singlet but one nipple (right one) was totally exposed because of the large armpit hole and the knapsack.

And this is a problem why?

Is an exposed male nipple somehow considered shocking in your culture?

I'm confused. If you're wearing a singlet, it quite often goes with the territory.
