    Hi All

We are a young couple from London who is going to spend New Years Eve in Berlin. As we have never been before, we would like to have some suggestions on where to go out.

We are keen on gay clubs mainly - we like cheesy / 80s music but it's not a must - nothing too quirky or S&M stuff. For those of you who know G-A-Y or Heaven in London, that's the kind of place we're after.

    Thanks for your help! icon_biggrin.gif

Berlin gay clubs are mostly known for electronic music.
There are clubs who have different kinds of theme based parties. I am not aware of any clubs with cheesy/80s music.

One of the most famous electronic clubs is Berghain, which is famous for its mysterious entry rule. I'd advise against wasting your time in a queue for hours to get inside because there is no gurantee that you'll get entry, odds are against you if you are a tourist.

The other well known club is schwuz. You can check their schedule. They have different kind of music on different days. Also, no weird entry criteria.

Check with Will Shepherd or RJ Aguiar. They are on Youtube on Shep689 channel and TheNotAdam channel. They were in Germany earlier this year.

We do have a computer but we are asking for suggestions, obviously it's best to have a feedback from people who have actually been. On the other hand, if you don't have anything relevant to add why even bother? Do people really have time for this? Duh icon_neutral.gif
