How buff do you really look?

I personally can't tell how others perceive my body. The lighting in the room shows different perceptions. When I take a picture of myself, my body usually looks more defined than how I see it with my own eyes. Sometimes my abs are visible and sometimes they're not. My eyes are pretty bad so that adds onto the confusion.

So how can you truly tell how defined you look?

Just count the number of guys following you around at a sex club or baths.

I thought I was the only one. Sometimes my abs are obvious and other times I have to tilt my head and squint a little. I thought it was because I was eating a lot of sodium the night before lol

I've achieved my ideal weight. How good I perceive I look also has to do with my mood at that moment. Part of it is mental and your perceptions of yourself at the moment of evaluation. I think I have little to criticize, but we all can be better (so long as the "attainment" is within reason).

Working on it...working on it...working on it... I think I look OK. For my age. Better than most. But I can do better. Didn't stop me from enjoying Thanksgiving. But I still hit the gym every day and didn't just glutton out.

I buff my bald head every day for a shiny bright look.

    ...wait, what?

    Others think I'm hot.

I don't. Really really really don't (but that could be due to self esteem and body dysmorphia).

Ok I admit in a tight fitted T shirt I can look really good. Sans T shirt....nooooooooooooooooooooo

I usually just try to remind myself that I would look so much worse if I didn't run and lift weights.

Is there such a thing as 'inverse' buffness? Like, you feel like any less mass on you, and you'll go concave?

I feel like that a lot. Probably not healthy.

I don't feel as buff as I look in pictures. I'm often told I don't know my own strength.icon_neutral.gificon_twisted.gif

Everyone staring at you in the gym. Especially in the locker rooms I see so many guys trying to grab a sneak peak.

It's a lot less stressful to just not worry about these things.. I have goals for myself, and I work toward those goals. If I starved myself every time I thought I had too much bodyfat then I would still be 135 pounds..
