Watched the whole thing - mostly because it was live - which is rare as hen's teeth on TV. Allison Williams was actually OK. She could actually sing (no one expected that). I don't see anyone rushing out to by the DVD recording, though. She was no Mary Martin. One irritating aspect of the production - is that they were all supposed to be English, even declaring allegiance to the king, but almost no one spoke with a British accent. Christopher Walken was pretty weak as Captain Hook. And, poor guy, had to wear an odd costume. As the review in the NY Times put it, in his "flowing black wig and pirate costume, he looked like the fashion designer John Galliano dressed as Johnny Depp for Halloween." I trust the 5 year olds liked it, but wonder how many of them got to stay up to 11 pm to watch it.

I only caught the beginning. Weren't they all speaking with English accents? I mean they weren't all that believable, but they gave it a try...

I also thought she was no Mary Martin, or Cathy Rigby either ;)

Wow, a recorded live musical. Thanks for bringing that up. I will see if I can watch it. I saw it live in the Pacific Northwest, years ago when I was attending university.

I watched it last night on Hulu. Christopher Walken was abysmal, Peter Pan was..acceptable, he lacked that spark that made him special though, and everything else was just blah. The only thing I really enjoyed was the set design and the attractive Indians.

It was also fun to watch it knowing it was live so catching things like the shadow of a camera of a light in the corner of the screen gave it some form of entertainment.

Very poofy! Wendy coming on to PP, Pirates were more cute than threatening, lost boys sleeping with each other, Hook should have been retired to a rest home; he needed help to rise and walk around. Tiger Lily's men were handsome undressed. This was creepy!
