Mine is like zero. I put up some decorations and lights, and took pictures of the lighting displays in our Old Town. It's like I'm impervious to it all, most likely because it comes too soon. Each year the "joy" of it is less and less. Not depressed about it...going to a party or two..but I feel over with this holiday. Should be every two years..or five. Then it would seem more special.

    You?

Zero. Christmas was a time when my father was off work, hence stayed drunk from morning till night. Twelve days of hell. I was happy when it was over and school started again. Then he was drunk only on Friday nights and weekends.

    Interesting topic

This is the third year in a row that I have not set up anything, namely, my mini tree and lights. As a collective, many of us have been through great changes in our personal lives, on a global scale, during the great recession and in the spirit of giving in the past 3 years. Even black Friday shopping frenzy got a lot less attention this year due to even bigger news...I always thought of Christmas as a kids holiday, the majority of us who don't have kids or families like the Waltons are kind of SOL, but its the spirit that counts.
Are we just worn out from too much drama?

2014 was a difficult year for many and others very progressive

    Bring on the new year!

I let my bf do all the Xmas stuff! As for my spirit, it's pretty much zero at this point because all I can think about is that I have 2 weeks left to buy gifts. Maybe I need to watch a Xmas show to get me in the mood.....like Bad Santa. icon_biggrin.gif

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidI treat Christmas like a Thanksgiving Part 2. It's a time to be thankful and enjoy a good meal with good company.

So I guess my Christmas spirit is nonexistent.

Not really. What you described is what is the essence of the reason for the season. And who could not smile back at that handsome face of yours?

About three fingers left in the bottle. I'll probably have to buy another one in a year or two.

Christmas is NOT what it used to be.. Growing up we would go over to my Grandmothers House and my whole family would be there and open gifts by the fire place, We would be laughing and talking and having a good time all of us and then we would go out side and slide down the hill.. And then come in for Christmas dinner... MMMM Christmas is NOT what it used to be............

A few years ago, I was alone on Christmas day, for the first time, because all of my friends were spending the day with their families. I think that was what killed it for me.
My group of close friends used to number 7 or 8, but some have moved away. This Christmas Eve, there will be 5 of us getting together for dinner. That will be really nice.

I can't imagine what summer Christmas feels like. Here, we associate Christmas with winter, snow, snowflakes, snowman, etc. icon_confused.gif

Christmas used to be my favorite time of the year when I was younger but the past 3-4 years I no longer like Christmas. I just want it to pass quickly. Especially this year, I have a home renovation project that drags on too long, and I'm anxiously waiting for it to finish. Totally no Christmas spirit at all. icon_sad.gif

Probably because I'm older and still single. Winter time is cold and dark, and Christmas can be a lonely, miserable time when others around you are celebrating with their bf/gf/husband/wife, and your loneliness is just magnified. icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

icon_rolleyes.gif It's just a solstice. Summer, Winter... good occasions for a party. Summer ones are generally better for the naked orgy in the woods sort of thing.

I know, here we associate christmas with barbaques, the beach, lots of very cold cider icon_cool.gif the rest (tree, decorations, etc) is the same.

hahahahaha! MMTA couldn't help himself and just posted some absolute random shit about a Christmas present he wants to give me and something regarding my dick. Yes, he had to find some excuse out of the blue to talk about my dick, he just couldn't contain himself! Then he realized how pathetic and obsessed he looked and deleted the whole thing! icon_lol.gif Too funny I got to read it in time

Well, to be honest all that hair going halfway up the shaft was something I've never seen before on a cock.

I found it a tad disturbing.

    On the bright side:

So when your partner gives you a blow job does all that hair serve as dental floss too? icon_lol.gif

"hair going halfway up the shaft "? you're exaggerating
that's just being hairy, i know youre estranged with that concept but real men have body hair.

Bout a mid-level Christmas spirit this season. That's only because I've watched a lot of Christmas movies on tv. However, certainly not high enough to decorate and do the wrapping as I use to enjoy doing. The last two years I was at a zero, likewise to others as it just came too abruptly and it didn't feel like Christmas.
