    "[Tips:
    Essential lifts in the gym are the deadlift, front squat, bench press, military press and pull up

    Utilise high intensity interval training, like sprints and some circuit training, to boost your metabolism

    Maintenance of muscle mass is important while losing fat, achieved by heavy resistance training

    David advises that 'there will not actually be a drastic drop in weight' after an effective fat loss period as muscle is heavier than fat]"

    Start by learning the meaning of "preemptive?"

    Um... did that dude shave half of his chest to show off his tattoo? Or did the tatt kill-off his body hair?

    It would require a cauldron, a magic wand and a few virgin sacrifices.

    The wand and the cauldron are the easy parts...

    I think the most interesting (and impressive) thing about Hugh Jackman's physique is that it is almost certainly natural. His physique and lifts are just about attainable IF you are as dedicated as he is. Some of the others (Jake Gyllenhal's recent pics for one example)... all I can say is icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

    The funny part is, the word "preemptively" (or whatever the OP actually meant) isn't even necessary. The sentence works better if you just delete it.

    As for the girl with the dragon tattoo... hmph. Yes, he's ripped, but there's an aesthetic quality that seems to be lacking. I've seen better bodies right here on this site.

    Hugh Jackman is the real deal. He stays fit almost all year round, unless he needs to get flabby for a particular movie role.

    Of course you would ask this. If anyone has any degree of muscle you're quick to assume he does steroids. You should look for videos of Hugh working out at the gym. He's a serious lifter and his dedication and hard work pays off. He wouldn't get a body like that from running around some field kicking a ball around.

    I dont follow Hugh Jackman (other than watching the Wolverines movies), I have no idea what kind of work out he does but Im curious, Ohno seems to know about him so I asked. Stop trying to find excuses to cover your own behaviour. Also stop following me around.

    His legs are kinda skinny. But it's in proportion with his height/size. So it's not like those spongebob dudes you see at the gym. icon_lol.gif

    1. He's not swollen, at all
    2. He can genuinely lift the heavy weights (see above) but that is a weight any guy could eventually lift
    3. He has been lifting for a really long time

    He's the real deal for sure, unlike most of these wannabes who have the cheek to appear in magazines talking about their "transformation". With Hugh Jackman you have to go back over 10 years to see the before pics. There was no sudden transformation.

    I found this:
    25 kg red
    20 kg blue
    15 kg yellow
    10 kg green
    5 kg white
    2.5 kg red
    2 kg blue
    1.5 kg yellow
    1 kg green
    0.5 kg white

    Gonna go paint all my small weights red for the next photo op icon_wink.gif

    Although:

    "Yea when plate makers do plates in pounds (bumper or not), it gets all screwed up. It seems to go:
    45lbs = red
    35lbs = blue
    25lbs = yellow
    10lbs = green

    Annoying."
