"The sun is shining [it is!]

The grass is green [well, the winter rye is—if any were even planted— while the summer grasses are merely parched brown from the drought]

The orange and palm trees sway [well, some of the orange orchards have died from the drought, but the yard oranges and palms ARE swaying]

There's never been such a day
    In...[northern California]...."

So, another year without a white Christmas in the Big Valley!

However, wishing all of you a partridge in a pear tree on this First Day of Christmas!

    Cheers!

No white Christmas in Western Mass. this year either, first green Christmas in years. The temperature was in the 50s too, the warmest Christmas in memory for me. A mostly cloudy day, but the sun shone for a little while in the afternoon, and I enjoyed it. In days past I liked deep winter snow, but nowadays, the less of it, the better.

Just getting ready for dinner in a rather cool Vancouver. Hopefully snow will come. The ski hills had to close because if the lack of snow.

    Merry Christmas everyone.
PS don't keep your hosts waiting for almost TWO hours when invited for dinner. Just sayin'

    Merry Xmas Guysicon_smile.gif

It is 53 degrees here in the Bay Area, and finally we have some sun after all the needed rain. Had great dinner with friends last night right now, getting ready to enjoy some Chinese food for dinner and fire Netflix and see what great movie I can find. Hey and was able to wash the car after a couple of weeks!

Gay couple find ‘faggots’ written on their door, but don’t let it ruin their Christmas

'To the individual who scrawled the word ‘’faggots’’ into our door: We regret to inform you that you completely failed to use glitter paint and/or sequins...'

You must have missed the latest edict: It is politically incorrect (and thus a transgression) to which Merry Christmas to a group. Though the atheists among us won't care, the Hindus, Zoroastrians, and Druids among us are likely to be pissed off at you wishing them a happy holiday of an alien religion.

Hottjoe, do you approve of this message?
