New to supplements

    Hello, I have some simple questions, I had a little bit of a look around and got most of them answered from threads already here though I still have a few I am unsure about.

    I am probably going to get on the Whey Protein as of tomorrow. How long will it take for me to 'notice' results? both in terms of physically looking at my size increasing, and in terms of me looking at my gym routine 'sheet' and reading my improvments.

    Also are their any adverse side effects on the body? I am going to get a carb free one. Thanks a lot for any help. Also any suggestions or any other information you think it'd be worth me knowing would be more than welcome.

    When you'll start seeing results of your workouts is going to depend on your physiology and your exercise and diet routines. It's nothing that anyone here can determine. As for whey protein, it's just food. It's a convenient way to get enough protein in the diet to support muscle growth.

    For me, I first started noticing muscle definition about six months after I started weight training. But, that was at age 42, and I was still in a weight loss mindset and not eating nearly enough food to support my workouts.
